Pasta Bake

Try this midweek pasta bake, using our Gia puree's makes it so easy and so delicious for all the family to enjoy!!

Serves 4 people

Prep time:5 mins

Cook time: 40 mins


1 Tbsp Olive Oil

2 Shallots

2 Tbsp Gia Tomato and Garlic Puree

1 Tsp Chilli Puree

90g Pancetta

500g Minced Beef (Lean)

100g Cherry Tomatoes

1 Bay leaf

100g Mozzarella

300g of Pasta Shells

150g Mushrooms (chopped)

500g Passata

Salt & Pepper (to taste)

Finely Grated Parmesan (to serve)


1: Preheat the oven 200°c fan.

2: Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat, add the shallots and cook for 5 mins until soft.

3:Add the mince, pancetta and mushrooms, cook for a further 5 mins.

4:Stir in the Gia Tomato and Garlic puree, Gia Chilli Puree, mixed herbs, passata and bayleaf. Bring to the boil, then simmer for 15 minutes.

5: Cook your pasta to packet instructions while the mince is cooking.

6:Drain the pasta when ready, add to the mince with cherry tomatoes.

7:Place all in a greased oven dish, sprinkle with mozzarella. Bake in the oven for 15 mins.

8:Finish with some grated parmesan and black pepper on top, serve with a side salad and some garlic bread.
