Christmas period this fragrant and scented dough rich in butter, eggs,
raisins and candied fruit. Panettone Alemagna is the most typical and
traditional Italian cake. The origin of Panettone is lost in the mists
of history and legends : this ancient recipe, which dates back to the
end of 1400, was handed down through the centuries until it reached a
man full of genius, Gioachino Alemagna, pastry chef in Milan who, from
1921 on, developed a great innovative idea, the natural leavening of the
dough in a special paper mould. This is how the Panettone Alemagna got
